We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop. -Mother Teresa
These words capture the devotion to our church community given by the group of women and men who form Trinity Cares. The members are charged with providing the good care neighbors need by lending a hand in an emergency, running an errand, giving a hot meal, arranging transportation to church or to a doctor’s appointment, or touching base with someone by card or phone or with a visit.
The group began its journey in November 2012 with 30 members. Nine years later it is still touching lives in many small ways. Not only do Trinity Cares members care for parishioners, but also our parishioners touch the lives of our members. Happy anniversary and many blessings to all the Trinity Cares missioners for their wonderful work: Eleanor Bird, Janet Boody, Libbey Buckley, Paul and Ruth Bugas, Judy Burtner, Steve Carpenter, Katie Cathey, Rick Chittum, Emily Cochran, Crystal Fiechtl, Beverly Frank, Betsy Gaffney, Kathleen Garcia, Doris Goode, Carter Hannah, Pat Henderson, Lilchy Huffman, Jennifer Kirkland, Jeanne Klein, Bizzy Lane, Sue Mattox, Sallie Meffert, Iris and Fred Odell, Ellen Pentz, Glenna Quick, Susan Rehfield, Kathy Schneiderman, Elizabeth Shuey, Chaucille Snyder, Anne Spencer, Juliette Swenson, Karen Tate, and Pat Williams.
