Sunday School & More
The Youth/Children Ministry (YCM) at Trinity Church has a goal to love and guide our children and youth to have a deeper understanding of what it means to be a Christian in our diverse world. This goal is aspired to through a two-pronged approach we call Formation and Service.
Formation: To teach in a welcoming respectful, interactive, and safe environment, one in which our children and youth can share their joys and concerns with each other and with caring adults, and God’s Word can be heard and experienced through scripture and tradition.
Service: To empower our children and youth to discover their gifts and talents by providing them with opportunities to be visible while serving during church services and when participating in community service activities in and outside of Trinity Church.
Children’s Sunday School
Elementary-aged children meet in the lower level classrooms of the Parish House every Sunday of the program year from 9:15-10:15 am, divided into reading and pre-reading groups – the younger class centers on a modified Godly Play curriculum that follows the liturgical year, and the older explores the Bible through activities, crafts and more. Please register your elementary-aged child here. That helps us get to know our families and have records of contact information, food allergies, photo releases, birthdays and more.
Youth (a.k.a. the Triniteens!)
Trinity Youth – middle and high school students – meet every Sunday morning at 9:15 upstairs for conversations about faith, current events and our life in community, using several solid curricula. Trinity’s Youth Room – painted by our students! – is open to all youth in middle and high school on Sunday mornings and Tuesday evenings, with snacks (including gluten-free), soft drinks and coffee available. Youth, please register here!
