Here at Trinity, there is a long-standing tradition of offering musical education to children through choir, from the eras of Carl Broman and Carol Taylor to the present day. Trinity is excited to expand the music program to the very youngest members of the parish family and community through tuition based Musikgarten classes. Long time Trinity adult chorister, Trinity Children’s Choir volunteer director, and assistant director Constance Harrington has recently become certified and licensed to teach Musikgarten classes to children from birth through age nine.

The Musikgarten curriculum offers a comprehensive pathway to music literacy through music and movement.  Research shows that early music education increases a child’s literacy and language development, problem solving skills, and pre-math skills.  Musikgarten classes encompass musical, physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth.

We also believe music education is crucial to a child’s spiritual development.

Classes begin the second week of September and are held on the ground floor of the Parish House. Enter through the Johnson Street door and signs will direct you to the classroom. Free parking is available in the church parking lot across Johnson Street.
