Fair-trade Gift Market & Breakfast – Nov. 15
The 2nd annual and Fair-Trade Gift Market Harvest Breakfast will take place on Saturday, November 16th. Plan now to enjoy your Saturday with a delicious pancake breakfast or scones with jam and cream and enjoy the opportunity to do some holiday shopping. Ten Thousand Villages will be here with a large selection of unique fair-trade gifts, household items, and holiday specialties from around the world. Indulge in some Equal Exchange chocolates or homemade goodies. Pick out just the right church mouse from the ECW table, or crafts items from Haiti, or stock up on the wonderful coffee from the mountains of Honduras.
The proceeds from this event will help support Trinity’s secondary school project in San Rafael, Honduras. And remember, when you purchase certified fair-trade goods, your money is supporting the artisan or cooperative that produced the goods, allowing the producers to work their way out of poverty.
