Greetings to Trinity, Staunton from Juba, South Sudan. Thank you for your gracious hospitality to me last summer, on June 23rd, when I visited with you and shared the ministry of teaching at Bishop Gwynne College as a missionary serving under the Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society. By the grace of God, I have returned to teach for this fall semester. Thank you for your part in making this happen.
Thanks also to Rector Paul Nancarrow who kindly recorded and posted my sermon that Sunday on the former Trinity blog page: http://trinitysermons.blogspot.com This Sunday afternoon in October, I’ve been led to listen to it and relive with pleasure the experience of being with you.
I have much more to share about my current experience that will be posted on my blog: http://ellenhanckel.blogspot.com. It can also be accessed through the Episcopal Church website: http://www.episcopalchurch.org/content/blogs/mission.
Thank you my friends at Trinity, Staunton for my first visit to see you several months ago and for the pleasure of revisiting you just now.
Peace in Christ,
